Rebecca Jarvis and The Learning Lions

SO COOL!!  Jack Dorsey, the creator of Twitter, sent us a message!

The 1D class had a terrific time hosting Rebecca Jarvis and the CBS News crew! Ms. Jarvis observed the 1D Kids at work and she even interviewed the students about using technology in the classroom. It was fun to have Ms. Jarvis join us for Morning Meeting.☺We showed our guests how we use iPads to access Twitter and we sent some tweets to our followers. We also went on a shape hunt. We used the iPads to take photographs of 3-d shapes found all around Columbus Academy. It was an amazing day and the students were wonderful representatives of Columbus Academy and 1D!
