Each day a new student is chosen to be the Teacher's Assistant. The TA reads the morning message, takes attendance to the office, returns books to the library, passes papers, records tallies and compliments, and completes any other job that is necessary on a given day. The assistants have even been adding books to our Shelfari shelf of read alouds (look for our shelf on the right side of this blog).
