Daily Literacy

We now refer to Daily 5 by a new name - Daily Literacy! There are 5 components of the Daily 5, and we have now been introduced to all 5 ~ Read to Self, Work on Writing, Word Work, Listen to Reading, and Read to Someone.

This week students had the opportunity to explore the iPads - soon they will use the iPads during Daily Literacy to write messages on Twitter and to begin blogging with KidBlog. Many of the 1D kids chose to write tweets on the laptop during their Work on Writing time this week.
