This photo was taken after the students lined up their jitter critters from smallest to biggest - WITHOUT using any words! As one student said, "We had to cooperate!"
We had a fantastic first day of first grade! We chanted the Phonics Dance alphabet (we loved the silly parts!), we brainstormed words that start with c and words that end with k, and we thought of LOTS of places to find numbers. We look forward to another great day tomorrow!
